If you are missing one or more of your teeth, or have been wearing dentures unsuccessfully, you probably are a good candidate for implant placement.  Implants act as root replacements for teeth and are anchored permanently within the jaw.  We were one of the first dental offices in the area to begin restoring and replacing teeth with the use of implants since 1983. We'd love to have you talk to some of our satisfied patients who have had positive experiences. Planning is essential to getting good implant results. The keys to acheiving a successful outcome with implants lie primarily with patient selection and a thorough pre-operative plan before surgical placement.

Full Mouth Reconstruction, or "Rehabilitation," restores or replaces all of the missing and remaining teeth. There are several ways to do that which include using implants, crowns and/or removable prosthetics.

We normally try to complete our reconstruction cases in as little time necessary since we know that wearing temporary teeth can be uncomfortable.

Before proceeding with reconstruction, a thorough diagnosis and treatment plan is completed for our patients. Then they know what to expect from the standpoint of the number of visits, chairtime and expense, so that there are no surprises.

The case below represents a patient who wore her anterior teeth down to an unacceptable height for efficient chewing and esthetic appearance. Reconstruction included placing crowns on her back teeth and veneering the upper and lower front teeth.

We're so glad that Hollywood has finally started educating people about cosmetic dentistry; something that we've been doing locally for our patient's smiles for years!
A successful smile
Spaces between teeth can be filled in and the teeth reshaped in a matter of minutes with synthetic resing fillings. There is no removal of tooth structure during this process, only addition of material, thereby making it changeable or totally reversible. This process can often be accomplished in one visit, and without anesthetics (no shots!)

Pitted enamel hypoplasia eliminated by porcelain veneers.
Fluoride staining eliminated by veneers.
Porcelain veneers provide an option to full coverage crowns in that only the front of the teeth are covered, leaving the non-visible surfaces alone.  This accomplishes the same esthetic result without reducing the entire tooth's enamel.  Sometimes no enamel reduction is required.
Tetracycline antibiotic discoloration solved by veneers.
